It's pronounced like the summer month, in case you were wondering 💛
I was born in Taiwan, grew up in Canada, and left for North Carolina when I was 13. In the past few years, I've lived in Paris, found my home in Brooklyn, gotten obsessed with rock climbing, and started my own earring line.
I hug firmly and wander curiously. I feel the most alive when basking in the sun, will never say no to karaoke, and have logged over 1000 movies on my ICheckMovies account.
These days I work as a Product Designer at Edquity, a Brooklyn-based ed-tech company focused on distributing emergency cash to reduce basic needs insecurity in higher education. I also serve as the Anti-Racism Design Lead and believe in the power of equity-focused design to affect social change. A big part of equity-focused design is soliciting input from living experts. This is why I love asking questions—I believe we are all living experts of something and to learn you simply listen.
I am a firm believer that everyone has a story and I hope you allow me the chance to learn yours.
Thank you for taking the time to read mine! ✨
